Dredging Work is Conducted at Sulaiman Connecting Channel in Kebon Jeruk

Kebon Jeruk Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Unit, West Jakarta, dredged Sulaiman connecting (phb) channel on Jl. Yusuf. From this dredging work, personnel collected 146.47 cubic meters of mud.

Kebon Jeruk Sub-district SDA Unit Head, Suprapto conveyed, Sulaiman phb channel has total length of 744 meters, while current work has reached 320 meters. This work has been carried out since May 3, 2021.

TIn this dredging work, 36 Kebon Jeruk Sub-district SDA Unit personnel and 10 PPSU personnel were deployed to clean up channel manually using hoe, bucket, crowbar, and cart.
"Dredging will optimize channel's capacity thus it can hold more water, especially when heavy rain falls. Besides, it is hoped to minimize inundation in the surrounding area," he explained.
